Beyond the Venkateswara temple at Tirumala, the seven hills are known for several other popular religious and historic destinations. Among them are the Aadhi Varaha Swamy Temple, Papavinasanam, Silathoranam and Akasha Ganga.
We will start our tour with the Aadhi Varaha Swamy Temple, a temple dedicated to the Varaha incarnation of Lord Vishnu. After this, we will head to the Papavinasanam which is believed to have holy water and one of the most sacred spots in Tirumala visited by devotees. Taking a dip under one of the many water drips here is supposed to cure one of their sins. Adjoining to this is a small temple also popular among devotees.
After a short snack break, we head to the Silathoranam, a natural arch with immense archaeological and religious significance. We will finally stope over at the Akasha Ganga a popular scared waterfall from where water has been carried for abhishekam (bathing) of the main deity of the Tirumala temple. We may intermittently stop at other significant places like the Srivari Padalu if time permits before heading back to the hotel.
