Road Trip Itinerary:
0600hrs – Convene at the Common point close to Silk board, Domlur, Jayanagar and drive down towards Nelamangala, breakfast on the way side hotel for a local cuisine which is quality assured by us.
Before lunch arrives at the church visit the place, take photographs and enjoy the nature at leisure.
Holy Rosary Church at Shettihalli, which is being submerged in the waters of the Hemavathy, is attracting tourists by the hordes.
Many are flocking to the area to get a glimpse of the partially submerged church, which looks like a stranded ship. The ruins of this enormous church are completely visible only in summer.
A mention of the name Shettyhalli gets people in the region nostalgic about the picturesque village. The sunflower and castor fields and the Hemavathy flowing quietly by the side completes the picture of a quaint village. However, it was submerged during the construction of the Hemavathy Reservoir at Gorur, to irrigate land in Hassan, Tumkur, and Mandya districts.
Now the church stands in the middle of the river, as a reminder of a village that was lost.
The church was reportedly built with mortar and bricks and a mixture of jaggery and eggs.
After lunch visit time at backwaters of River Hemavathy, the perfect place for Bird watchers. There are temples of Paravasudeva and Yoganarasimha are located near the dam.
The road trip is not complete without taking pictures, exploring new places and gossiping with new friends and sharing new cultures, ideas, and experiences.
An evening is a time to spend the most wonderful moments with divinity at a “Musical Village” a small village on the banks of the Kaveri river.
The village was an abode of Veda, Nada, and Taranga, according to the renowned Carnatic vocalist, R K Padmanabha.

Wake up at your leisure, the day begins after the sumptuous breakfast and drives down to the land of “Coffee and Wildlife” which is popularly known as “Chikkamagalur”.Today is the exciting adventurous day with the short hike to the Karnataka’s highest mountain “Mullayanagiri”, where lord Shiva temple is situated at the height of 6,200 feet.
During monsoon the entire weather is packed up by clouds, heavy winds and poor visibility it is such a wonderful experience to be there.
At the base, there is a temple dedicated to Lord Rama, which is known as “Sittalayanagiri”, the view from here is awesome, as you can see the complete town and the estates.
Later the visit we drive back to Bangalore, have self-sponsored lunch at Chikkamagalur town and experience the water sports at Yagachi backwaters. Try experiencing Kayaking, Bumper ride, Jet skiing, Swimming or motor boat ride.

After the water sports, we drive back to Bangalore with few pit stops for tea breaks and reach by night and dropped back at your respective places.
