Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Arrive at NoiBai Airport. Meeting with driver and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2 : Hanoi full day city tour (B,L)
AM: 08h00 - 08h30: Pick up at your hotel (join tours will free pick up all points in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. We then continue on to the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist - dating from the Ly Dynasty) and the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (apply on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch we’ll proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. We’ll also see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. For the last part of the tour we’ll journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Tour ends around 15h30 - 16h00.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum close on Monday and Friday morning.
Bat Trang pottery village will be visited on Mon, Wed & Fri (without Ethnology Museum). Ethnology Museum will be visited on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat (without Bat Trang pottery village).
Day 3 : Hanoi –Halong- Overnight on Junk ( B,L,D )
Halong Bay, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO since 1994 and 2006
08h00 : Pick up at your hotel for Ha Long bay by shuttle bus
12h15 : Board Junk, check-in registration 12h45 : Start cruise
13h00 : Have lunch board 13h30 : A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach.
17h30 : Drinking Vietnamese wine and enjoy sunset.
19h30 : Enjoy dinner on board.
21h00: Fishing or relax and spending a night on board.
Day 4: Halong - Hanoi (B,L)
07h00 : Have breakfast
07h30 : A morning cruise to visit Man’s head island, Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat, Bai Tu Long bay
10h00: Arrange luggage and check-out
10h30: Have lunch on board
11h45: Arrive Halong wharf. Bus back to Hanoi arrives in Hanoi about 4 PM. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Hue (B,L) Flight
Am : Transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to the airport. Flight VN 1541 to Hue ( 8:00 -9:10 ). Pick up then transfer to your hotel in Hue. Bus trip to visit Hue City and King's tombs TuDuc and KhaiDinh
The tour ends by shopping at Dongba Market. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 6 : Hue -Da Nang –Hoian (B,L )
8h00 Boat trip to visit ThienMu Pagoda. Visit Imperial Citadel. Transfer to Danang . Spend time in LangCo beach enroute, taking photograph from HaiVan Pass ( The pass of Sea and Cloud). Cham Museum in Danang. Afternoon visit Marble Mountain and enjoying sea/sun bathing in Danang beach. Arrive Hoian. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 7 : Hoian (B,L )
Visit Hoian - an old trading town, some 30km from Danang. Visit Hoian: Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old house, Assembly Hall Chinese. PhucKien Pagoda, Hoian Museum and Market. Lunch at restaurant. Overnight in Hoian
Day 8: Hoian free day (B)
Full day free to explore Hoi An by yourself. Night in Hoi An
Day 9: Hoi An – DaNang – SaiGon (B ) by flight
Free until transfer to DaNang airport for flight to SaiGon. Pick up at SaiGon airport and transfer to hotel. Night in SaiGon .
Day 10: SaiGon city – CuChi tunnels (B,L) (start 8.00 – return 18.30)
AM: HCM City
We start the trip by visitingNotre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office,followed by exploring the Reunification Palace,andthe remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum, (optional Ben Thanh Market -only drop off).
PM: Cu Chi Tunnels
Located 60km from HCMC, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.
