The trek to Everest Base Camp requires a steady pace and enough acclimatization that is our focus. Since Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa first successfully climbed the mountain (8848m) on May 29th, 1953, many adventure-seeking tourists follow the trail. Everest base camp trek is suitable for any and every age group as there are different routes and travel styles to choose from. Though the trek starts from Jiri, nowadays it is easier to start from Lukla and end in Lukla.


Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (1300 meters)

Day 02: Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2651 meters) 8 km distance, 3 hours trek

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche (3440 meters) 11km distance, Approx. 7 hours

Day 04: Acclimatization day to avoid high altitude for coming days

Day 05: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3870 meters) 10km distance, Approx. 6 hours

Day 06: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4360 meters) 9 km distance, Approx. 5 hours

Day 07: Dingboche 2nd acclimatization day

Day 08: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 meters) 7 km distance, Approx. 6 hours

Day 09: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170 meters) and EBC (5364 meters) 13 km distance, Approx 8 hours

Day 10: Trek from Gorakshep to Kalapather (5545 meters) and back to Pheriche (4288 meters) 16 km distance, Approx 9 hrs

Day 11: Trek down to Namche (3440 meters) 20km, Approx 8 hours

Day 12: Trek down to Lukla (2800m/9186ft) 19 km, Approx 8 hours

Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu 32 minutes

Day 14: Full Day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Refund policy : If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip: - 30 days or more prior to departure, we will retain the deposit; - between 15 and 29 days prior to departure, we will retain 50% of the total booking cost - 14 days or less prior to departure, we will retain 100% paid by you in connection with the booking. Note that different cancellation conditions apply to some trips and additional services. Your booking consultant will advise if differences apply. Please note that for certain travel arrangements the cancellation charge may be higher than those shown. In certain cases a 100% cancellation fee applies as soon as the booking is made and the ticket is issued. You will be advised of different cancellation charges at time of booking. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made. The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees which may be levied by accommodation providers, travel agents or third party tour and transport operator fees.
Cancellations : We may cancel a trip at any time up to 30 days before departure, subject to clause 13. We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights. Please note that different cancellation conditions may apply to some styles of trips; your booking consultant will advise if differences apply.
