Casablanca sightseeing walking tour

Itinerary sample:

We will walk and hike up passing through the following Landmarks of Casablanca (able to change to meet your interests):

Begin with a must see - Hassan II Mosque, which was finished in 1993. Its minaret is the world's tallest at 689 ft (210 metres), and can hold up to 105,000 worshipers including 25,000 inside the mosque and another 80,000 on the mosque's outside grounds. Its minaret stands above the old town, while the main building looks out across the Atlantic Ocean. "Outside visit".

This is followed by a stroll in the medina (old town) of Casablanca for a taste for old Casablancan daily lifestyle. Step back into the city's past as you walk the narrow streets of Old Medina of Casablanca, a walled part of town dating back to the French colonial era. Smaller and more European than many other regional medinas. Though the thrill lies in the bustling marketplace, where you'll find traditional leather goods, clothes, and spices.

Next, passing though Place des Nations Unies (United Nations Square). A large palm tree-lined public square, Place des Nations Unies represents the place where the old and new town meet. One of the largest squares in the city. Was built in the 1970s.

Along with the neighboring United Nations Square to the north, the Mohammed V Square forms the central hub of Casablanca’s new town and is home to some of the city’s most striking architecture, laid out in the early 20th.

Up to your last attraction will be La Corniche, Casablanca's beautiful seafront, where you may enjoy a walk or simply sip a cafe overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. La Corniche offers an area full of entertainment, and the chance to go on a refreshing walk on the beach, or even a dip in the sea if you’re feeling daring.

Estimated duration: 3 hours.

A Walking Tour gives you a better chance to discover and enjoy your visit to the heart of ancient places and other tourist attractions.
