Cultural Trail of Pondicherry - A Walking Tour

Pondicherry is among the few Union Territories with a rich history of colonial rule intertwined with the local heritage making it both a storytellers delight and a sight to see for visitors. With over 500 years of heritage intact, the place has several interesting monuments spread within 7 blocks.

On this all inclusive walking tour, we will discover the hidden secrets of the Tamil Quarter as you walk through the Goubert Market, pass by restored Franco-Tamil houses on Vysial Street, and visit the Mahakavi Bharathiar Museum & Research Centre. As we stroll through these streets, we may see a few artisans at work. Subsequently we will visit to the 500 year old vedapureeswarar temple and end our walk with tea at a heritage hotel set in a restored home.
