We’ve put together the Discover Persia Tour to provide you with enough time and a comprehensive itinerary to fully experience and enjoy the best that Persia has to offer in terms of history and culture, plus giving you an insight into modern life in Iran by two Brits who live here in Shiraz.
Day 1: Tehran
Welcome to Iran. To be met by your tour guide at the airport (IKA airport), you will be transferred to your hotel. We visit Reza Abbasi museum a collections on display and in storage of this museum belong to a period from the 2nd millenium BC to the early 20th century which corresponds to the end of Qajar period. After sightseeing we will host you in a traditional restaurant for a dinner.
Day 2: Tehran-Shiraz
A full day Sightseeing in Tehran including Golestan Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site), National museum with astonishing historical objects since the 5th millennium B.C to the 7 century A.D, and The National Jewelry Treasury is housed within the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Here is the most dazzling collection of gemstones and jewelry known in the world. In the evening take a flight to Shiraz, the city of poet, literature and ancient history.
Day 3: Shiraz
In the beginning of the third day we will have a full day city tour including Eram Garden called in Persian "Baghe Eram" (registered in UNESCO world heritage sites) which the building and the garden were built during the middle of thirteenth century by the Ilkhanate or a paramount chief of the Qashqai tribes of Pars and famous for its long and beautiful cypresses, Karim khan Citadel, the residentional-millitary palace of 18 century, Khan Theological School, Vakil Bazaar and Saray Moshir where you can feel the daily life of people of Shiraz. After lunch, we will visit the tomb of Hafez and Saadi (Saʿdī), two of Persian most outstanding world famous poets.
Day 4: Shiraz-Yazd
In the morning drive to Yazd (registered in UNESCO world heritage sites), the city in the heart of desert nicknamed the "City of Windcatchers" (Persian: Shahr-e Badgirha). En-routh at first you will visit Persepolis, the fabulous art of ancient Persia, and Then Pasargadae, Tomb of Cyrus the great (559-530 BCE), founder of Persian Empire. Both sites are registered in UNESCO world Heritage. Also, you will visit Naghsh-e Rostam (Necropolis), where you can see four tombs and one building from Achaemenid dynasty with a group of ancient Iranian rock reliefs cut into the cliff, from Sassanid density. Arriving Yazd in afternoon. Transfer to the Hotel. A short walk around Amir Chaqmaq square (an ancient square), and walking through streets of Yazd.
Day 5: Yazd
After breakfast we will visit the Fire temple. Fire temple in Zoroastrianism is the place of worship for Zoroastrians, often called dar-e mehr (Persian) or agiyari (Gujarati). It is one of the nine Atash Behrams, the only one of the highest grade fire in Iran where Zoroastrians have practiced their religion since 400 BC; the other eight Atash Behrams are in India. After that we will visit Tower of Silence (Persian: Dakhma), a circular, raised structure built by Zoroastrians for excarnation – that is, for dead bodies to be exposed to carrion birds. Walk around the old area of the city and visit Yazd Jame mosque, and Fahadan district to feel the desert architecture culture. Visit Zoor khaneh (power house), the Iranian classical exercise with thousand years of history.
Day 6: Yazd-Garmeh
Drive to Garmeh. En-Route, visit Meybod Narin Castle remains that is a mud-brick fort or castle in the town. Shah Abbassi Caravanserai, Mud- Brick Icehouse and pigeon tower.
Day 7: Garmeh-khoor
Drive to Farahzad & Mesr Oasis. En-Route, visit Khur Salt Lake, Bayazieh Alcazar, Khur Aqueduct, Garmeh Desert Village and experience desert life style.

A full day adventure safari tour including camel riding and take a walk on sand dunes.

Day 9: Anarak- Isfahan
Drive to Isfahan. Visiting Naeen Old Jame Mosque and Pirnia Traditional house on the way. Having lunch in Isfahan. Half day sightseeing tour in Isfahan including Imam (Naghsh-e-Jahan) Square, the second biggest square through the world registered in UNESCO, Abbasi (Imam) mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, The Pavilion of Ali’Qapu and Bazaar. Having lunch. In the afternoon visit Chehel Sotun (40 Columns) Palace (reception palace during Safavid dynasty, World Heritage Site) and 3 famouse bridges of Khajou, Siyosepol and Shahrestan.
Day 10: Isfahan-Kashan
In the morning visit Jam’e mosque and Armenian Vank Cathedral. Drive to Kashan. En-Route, stop by Abyaneh to visit Brilliant red historical village.
Day 11: Kashan-IKA airport
In the morning visit Fin Garden (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Borujrdi traditional house. Transfer to IKA airport for departure flight.
