This tour will include -
We start at Esplanade area, the busiest market and heart of the city. Through walk we reach the dalhousie square beholding the age old british buildings and offices.
Next we visit St.johns church, the oldest church in city.
The oldest flat or apartment built by the british.
We are transfered to North calcutta, the oldest part of the city. Here we go through lanes and narrow alleys where once the British and freedom fighter or revolutionaries fought and played hide and seek with eachother.
We visit native zamindar houses as old as 400 years old. Talk to locals.
We sip in tea and some light snacks keeping the journey on. Best of local street food on offer.
Finally the last spot is kumartuli. A renowned for photographers hub where clay craftsmen work in their workshops to make clay statues all over the world.
A stroll down by river Hoogly and smiles to depart with, making friends and memories how we end the tour.
